Our stay at Courtyard Cottage was nothing short of delightful. Nestled in the heart of Soberton, this charming cottage exceeded all expectations. The beautiful Victorian walled garden is a true hidden gem. The garden boasts a croquet lawn and several inviting seating areas, perfect for enjoying a peaceful afternoon. The stunning Oak Gazebo provided just the right amount of shade, creating a tranquil spot to rest, read, or simply take in the serene surroundings.
The accommodation itself was immaculate. Every detail had been thought of, making our stay comfortable and relaxing. The beds were incredibly comfy, ensuring a restful night’s sleep after a day of exploring the picturesque countryside. The cottage was well-appointed, with everything we needed for a perfect stay, including a great patio for alfresco dining.
Gill, our host, was excellent—warm, welcoming, and attentive without being intrusive. Gill truly went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay.
The peacefulness of the location added to the overall charm, making it an ideal retreat for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Yet, despite its tranquil setting, there was plenty to see and do in the local area.
Courtyard Cottage is a true haven of relaxation. We left feeling rejuvenated and already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a peaceful, picturesque getaway with top-notch accommodation and a wonderful host.
