Brilliant Place to stay

We were extremely impressed with staying at Stable Cottage for a week in July 2021. The garden was really good and pleasant to sit in with a patio area and grass. the garden was private to the cottage and totally secure for the dog so you could just let it out without worry it would not escape. There was also a 7 acre field that you were able to free run your dog in just outside your garden fence which was another plus for us. The cottage itself was well equipped and we couldn’t recommend it highly enough it was so good. The lighting was also very good so many places we have been to the lighting has been poor but this was splendid. It was very quiet and peaceful. There was also a laundry room fully equipped and a Boot room for drying clothes and dirty boots, if you needed to. There was also a lovely walled garden to walk round, or just sit in, if you wanted. You could also play Croquet if you felt so inclined. Gill and Trevor, the owners, were really lovely and a pleasure to talk to and were always around somewhere if you needed them. We just couldn’t recommend this place highly enough and took away some of their leaflets to give to our fiends.
