Fantastic!

Wonderful week! Cannot praise the accommodation highly enough. Everything you need, so well equipped and spotlessly clean. The garden and grounds are wondrous. If you have a dog, as we did, this is the place. A secure pasture for dogs but as we were out during the day, mainly used for early and late evening walks that our dog loved – however, bring a torch. The peace and tranquility had me de-stressing within hours of arriving. Very good local pubs (White Lion) with excellent food. Great walks if you are feeling energetic, if not, the walled garden and grounds will keep anyone happy. Recommend Bishops Waltham for interesting shops and a great bakery, plus the old Palace ruins. Another is Porchester Castle. Try Winchester Hill for outstanding views and walk. As a stargazer, it doesn’t get better…a glass of wine on a warm night looking at the stars! We met Gill, a lovely friendly host. Needless to say we will be returning.
